"My expectations were fully met during our visit. The hotel and the hotel staff were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending your property to others and should we visit Savannah again would not consider staying anywhere else. Thank you for a wonderful stay." --May 4, 2013

"The staff is quite attentive and we were very impressed that the same people were working there three years after our first visit. Staff made us feel like family. Virginia with her morning smile, Erin always willing to chat. The guys were great in lending a hand when needed. Exceptional!" --May 3, 2013

"The Eliza Thompson House is nestled on a beautiful, quiet Savannah street. When we arrived I felt I had stepped back into a kinder ,more genteel era. The house is beautiful. The antique furnishes in the main room drip with history A well trained staff is anxious to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They are friendly, attentive, and informative. Rooms are well appointed and very clean. Yummy breakfast! The wine reception is held in the main room but you can enjoy your wine and appetizers in the lush courtyard. Each evening tasty desserts and coffee are served. The wine and dessert provide a vehicle to meet other travelers. A hidden gem away from the bustle but close enough to walk to points of interest." --April 16, 2013

" Located on "the prettiest street in Savannah" did not disappoint with it's trees canopied over the brick streets. Delightful enclosed patio area, quiet and peaceful neighborhood make it ideal for relaxation. The Mercer House and Mrs. Wilkes is just a block or two away... walk everywhere to eateries, shops and town squares. Location was perfect! Staff was attentive, breakfast was buffet, but very good with egg casserole, pancakes, biscuits, 2 meat choices, grits, cereals, yogurt & blueberries. Evening wine & cheese/crackers, as well as a few munchies was nice, too." --April 13, 2013

"A true gem! This was our first visit to Savannah and we could not have asked for a more perfect place. The staff was friendly and very helpful in advising us about restaurants, tours and things to do. Room was spotless and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time here and would love to return again.                              --March 20, 2013

" Really enjoyed our stay at the Eliza Thompson House. The hotel was in a great location on a beautiful street, near several of the squares. We walked everywhere. The hotel staff was also very courteous and the rooms were clean. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again."                 --March 19, 2013

" We really enjoyed our stay. The courtyard was beautiful and it was obvious that pride was taken in the hotel by management and staff. The wine and cheese and the bountiful breakfast gave us the opportunity to meet the other guests. We will come again." --March 12, 2013

"Just stay as great as you are! Our visit was delightful and I would love to return some day. The staff member who provided exceptional service was the bellman. I believe his name is Kevin. He was most welcoming and helpful." --March 2, 2013

" Lovely, wonderful, delightful bed and breakfast. This was our second trip to Savannah and our second stay at Eliza. Our room was actually two rooms with a gorgeous sitting room. We stay in a B&B when we have the opportunity. This is one of the best. Staff is exceptionally friendly, especially Virginia who handles the breakfasts. It is within walking distance of all the downtown sights and experiences. We love this B&B and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Savannah. Wonderful!!!" --February 19, 2013

" The Eliza Thompson House is like time travel. The elegant living room and beautiful atrium where breakfast is taken in the warmer weather, made us feel like we had woken in another time. Our room was spacious, clean and elegantly decorated and the bathroom had every amenity. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Makes you just love Savannah even more." --February 17, 2013
