Luxury Main House Rooms
Our Luxury Main House rooms are considered to be the best and most elegant rooms at The Eliza Thompson House. Built in 1847 as a part of the original home structure, these rooms include The Admiral Turner Room, The R. Bruce Room, the J. Stephens Room and The Lindsey Room. Each of these exceptional rooms has long been a favorite for our return guests, but is now even better following an extensive room renovation that brought new drapes, rugs, bedding and more to these historic rooms. Sophisticated and spacious, the Luxury Main House rooms are the accommodations to select if you're looking for the very best experience at The Eliza Thompson House.
The Admiral Turner Room (Parlor Level)
Conveniently located near the Parlor, the Admiral Turner room features a King bed and two chairs. The room has 12' ceilings, hardwood floors and a lovely chandelier. The flat screen television has a DVD player.
The Lindsey Luxury Main House Room
This room features one king bed, a 12' ceiling, antique dresser, armoire and hardwood floors. The flat screen television has a DVD player. This room is located on the 3rd floor of the Main House and is considered one of the more elegant rooms at The Eliza Thompson House.
The J Stephens Luxury Main House Room
This room features a queen bed, 12' ceiling, ceiling fan and an ornate fireplace. Located on the 3rd Floor of The Eliza Thompson House's Main House, The J. Stephens Room has two windows overlooking historic Jones Street and its moss-draped trees. A bay window on the opposite wall overlooks the garden courtyard. Returning guests often request this room for their next stay.
The R. Bruce Room
One King bed, a stunning 12' draped ceiling, two chairs, a dressing table, flat screened television with DVD player, ornate fireplace, hardwood floors and oriental rug. This room is located on the 3rd floor of the Main House. It's one of the Inn's finest and most romantic rooms and is the perfect choice for a special weekend for two.
